He went back and brought me a SS GMT. Like the level 20 being green and the level 15 beings blue. Yes rarity is a factor. However you should look to continually replace your gear until you get to gear cap, cp160. If a higher level person trades you gear, the gear will be at the level of the person who picked it up.
