The tour begins with the building that houses Hublot’s parts manufacturing and machine shops, inaugurated in 2015 to double the production area. Almost all of Hublot’s watch components are manufactured here in Nyon. On the top . Since November 2011, when Magic Gold was unveiled to the world’s press, Hublot has equipped itself with the means to produce Magic Gold in-house from start to finish thanks to its high-tech foundry in Nyon, which is home to the ceramic sintering and high-pressure metal casting processes. Just 20 or so minutes outside of Geneva is Nyon, a semi-rural and industrial area that is home to Hublot. It’s hard to miss as you see the two large buildings standing tall amongst the fields which houses around 450 employees.
The six storey Hublot building is easily recognisable from a distance. Even without the enormous logo out front the building is entirely in black and grey, echoing the favourite shades of the Big Bang.
