Great pepper note—piquant yet smooth, against a slightly sweet and salty backdrop, held up by woods and subtle rose throughout. Very modest scent—really need to lean in to catch it. Thought it’d be a love, but it’s only a like. Much prefer Guerlain Encens Mythique for a similarly salty rose ambergris, but with more life and nuance.
